How Passports with Purpose Works

We, as travel bloggers, secured amazing donation prizes. I’m grateful for my committed fair trade friends around the world who donated to create our AROUND THE WORLD PRIZE PACK. It is loaded with  fair trade treasures from more than nine developing countries totaling over $850.

Part of me is very sad that I cannot win my own prize pack because, honestly, if I could win, I would enter. The items sitting in my office are absolutely gorgeous and for a chance to win all of these for just $10, and the money is a donation to a great cause? Does it really get any better than that?

But YOU can win it and here is how:

If you’d like a shot at winning this prize pack (United States addresses only) all you need to do is head over to the Donate page and for each $10 tax-deductible donation on the site, you can enter to win a prize of your choice. Donations for multiple prizes and multiple $10 increments are acceptable, as well as donations without entering for a prize. On December 18, a winner will be randomly selected and notified for each prize. Donations go directly to the 2012 beneficiary,

We are grateful for the support our Passports with Purpose sponsors have provided. They include: platinum sponsor; gold sponsor TripIt; silver sponsor TBEX; and bronze sponsors HomeAway, Travellerspoint, Hostel Bookers and Go with Oh.

In addition to being a platinum sponsor, captured the story behind the travel blogging community’s annual fundraiser as part of the Find Yours campaign. The Find Your Purpose video of Pam Mandel, Debbie Dubrow and Michelle Duffy’s visit to one of the libraries in Zambia built as a result of last year’s fundraiser showcases the passion and purpose behind the travel blogging community’s goal to create long-lasting good for people who live in the places travelers visit.
